Why Use Our Tool? The Privacy Advantage
Almost every other "free" online tool makes you upload your images to their server. This is slow and a major privacy risk. Our tool is different. All processing happens 100% in your own browser.
- 100% Private: Your files never leave your computer. We never see them.
- Instant Speed: No upload or download wait time. Processing is instant.
- Completely Free: No watermarks, no sign-ups, no limits.
- Works Offline: Once the page is loaded, you can disconnect from the internet and it will still work.
Understanding Image Formats
JPG/JPEG: Best for photos. Uses "lossy" compression, which means it can be a very small file size, but you lose a tiny bit of quality. Our quality slider lets you control this balance.
PNG: Best for graphics, logos, and screenshots. Uses "lossless" compression, so quality is perfect. It also supports transparent backgrounds. The file size is usually larger than JPG.
WEBP: The modern format. It can be small like a JPG but also supports transparency like a PNG. It's the best choice for websites, but not all older software can open it.
What Does "Resize to Full HD" Mean?
"Full HD" is a standard size of 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels tall. Our tool will resize your image to fit *within* these dimensions while keeping its original aspect ratio. This means your image will not be stretched or distorted. For example, a tall portrait image (like 3000x4000) will become 810x1080, and a wide landscape image (like 4000x3000) will become 1920x1440.
